·         Teaching FP Life Skills: Movement Grade R

·         Teaching FP Life Skills: Early Childhood Art

·         English for Education 1B

·         First Additional Language

·         Introduction to Personal Computing


Minimum Educational Qualifications:


Any of the following:

·         A Minimum of a B.Ed. Honours Degree/ Honours in English/ another Humanities/Arts/ Social Science/ Psychology Honours/ Post Graduate Diploma (at NQF level 8)

·         3 Year Diploma/ Bachelor€™s degree in Information Technology/ 3 year Diploma/ Bachelor€™s degree in an IT0related field

·         School teaching experience in Teaching Movement/ Physical Education in the Foundation Phase

·         School teaching experience in Teaching Art  in the Foundation Phase

·         The undergraduate qualification must include English as a major (up to third year level)/ a Postgraduate Teaching Diploma (NQF level 8) with English as a didactic subject

Work Experience:


Any of the following

·         Ideally, teaching/ lecturing experience in English, Academic Writing, Academic Skills Development or Academic Literacy

·         Teaching/ lecturing experience in English/ language to be lectured/ Psychology or work experience in counselling/ Therapeutic Psychology/ School teaching experience in Foundation Phase required

·         Lecturing experience at Tertiary level

·         Lecturing experience in Personal Computing/ Desktop Publishing and or work experience as an IT administrator, office administrator, or personal assistant
