Teaching & Learning Manager

Job Purpose:

To develop online support material and bridging content for students who enter the Rosebank College value chain using the Learning Management System (LMS) in order to assist in increasing success and graduation rates

Key Performance Area:

Creating prioritised bridging material for modules which students find difficult to access

  • Transform the instructional content designed as bridging material by relevant stakeholders into compatible content for the LMS
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders in ensuring that display, delivery and release of content is pedagogicaly sound and accomplishes the purpose of the material (eg. Adaptive release,  self grading assessment)

Develop material that supports skills for academic success at Rosebank College

  • Interact with the National Librarian and National Programme Manager: Teaching and Learning in creating and deploying content that supports academic literacy for Rosebank College students
  • Liaise with the National Student Relations Manager and National Programme Manager: Teaching and Learning in creating and deploying content that promotes student wellness, community engagement and social awareness for Rosebank College students

Testing, review and revision of developed material to optimise impact

  • Use metrics and analytics to determine impact of content on student success and throughput rates

Interact with the Learn team at the IIE in order to effectively implement Rosebank College bespoke material on Learn

  • Submit content to the IIE for uploading to relevant course content areas in IIELearn

  • Degree in Educational Technology or Instructional Technology


  • M.Ed in Educational Technology
  • Instructional Design qualification or certification

Work Experience:

  • 3 years as a eLearning Content Developer
  • 2 years Learning Management Systems experience

Physical Job Requirements:

Travel required.
