Job Purpose:

Responsible for recruitment, general consulting, training and development, staff management and the upkeep of employee records; which will include the compilation of correspondence, regular manpower statistics and reports; legislative and compliance matters for all campuses, national and centralised offices.  

Key Performance Area:

Consulting to ensure  staff are managed, guided and developed

  • Adhere to legislative requirements and company policies and procedures in respect of employment and safety practices

 Recruitment and selection

  • Directly responsible for sourcing and selecting resources to match and enhance company goals
  • Oversee, monitor and report on filling campus vacancies.

 HR queries from managers

  • Ensures that queries are dealt with and followed through to completion

 Service Providers to HR

  • Ensure all Service Providers are registered on the finance system and have a valid contract in place
  • Pro-forma invoices / quotes are received for all work undertaken
  • Payment is made on time to ensure validity of guarantees
  • Expenditure does not exceed budget
  • Quality of work by service providers is evaluated

Manage projects as allocated

  • Assists HR Manager with projects


Human Resources qualification or Studying towards that

Work Experience:

2 - 5 yrs HR experience
