Job Purpose:

The handyman€™s responsibilities revolve around general maintenance, orderliness, and cleanliness in the organisation to ensure that facilities and equipment in the organisation are in good shape at all times.

Key Performance Area:

  • Carry out general repairs/ maintenance on all facilities
  • Repair plumbing appliances
  • Troubleshoot general problems
  • Repair and replace general hardware
  • Paint building when necessary
  • Attend to members of staff promptly when called upon

 

Education:

  • Grade 12 preferred

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position

 

Physical Job Requirements:

  • Ability to lift heavy equipment
  • Must be able to speak, read & write in English
