Job Purpose:

Key Performance Area:

  • Teaching curriculum outcomes as per contract hours
  • Briefing students for assignments and projects
  • Marking assessments and providing feedback
  • Presenting class marks and feedback to the head of programme
  • Actively engaging with current trends in teaching and learning strategies within the Rosebank College environment

Education:

Applications are invited from applicants with any of the below qualifications & experience:

Public Administration

Ideal:

  • An Honours Degree / Masters in Public Administration and management.

 Alternatively:

  • A masters or Honours degree in a similarly related field such as Political sciences with a background of Public Administration.

 

Statistics, General

Ideal:

  •  Any Honours degree with Statistics/ Mathematics up to the third year level.

 Alternatively:

  •  Honours in one of the Business related fields (e.g. economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) €“ with Statistics/ Mathematics to a third year level
  •  Bachelor degree with Statistics/ Mathematics or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project managemnt) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education

 

Marketing

?Ideal:

  •  Honours in Marketing

 Alternatively:

  •  Honours in one of the Business related fields (e.g. economics, entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) €“ with Marketing to the third year level
  •  A Bachelor degree with Marketing or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, risk, supply chain or project management) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

 

Business Management

?Ideal:

  •  Honours in Business Management; Strategic Management; or Entrepreneurship.

 Alternatively:

  •  Honours in one of the Business Management related fields (e.g. entrepreneurship, contemporary, general; strategic; project; supply chain/logistics management) with management to the third year of an undergraduate degree.
  •  A Bachelor degree with Business Management or a similarly related field (e.g. entrepreneurship, contemporary, general; strategic; project; supply chain/logistics management) to the third year level PLUS either an MBA/MBL or a postgraduate diploma in business or education.

Academic Literacy

  • Minimum qualification
    B.Ed. degree
    or
    a degree in English/Philosophy/Educational Psychology
    or
    another Humanities/Arts/Social Science degree
    or
    Postgraduate Certificate in Education (at NQF level 7)
     

Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia

Ideal:

  •  A Bachelor degree in Digital Design/Media/ Graphic Design / Multimedia

 Alternatively:

  •  A Bachelor degree in one of the Digital Graphic/Media/Multimedia related fields with digital graphics or a similarly related field to the third year level.

 

Events Administration

?Ideal:

  • 3 Year Diploma in Eventing and conferencing.
  • Bachelor degree/ BTech in Event Management

 

Alternatively:

  • Bachelor degree/ BTech/ 3 year Diploma in Event Management/ Tourism / Public Relations/ Communication with event management for 3 years.

 

Payroll Administration

Ideal:
€¢ 3 Year Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management/Accounting with payroll administration up to second year level.
€¢ Pastel payroll accredited trainer


Alternatively:
€¢ 3 year Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in one of the Business/Payroll related fields with Accounting or Financial Management up to the second year level.
€¢ Advanced Certificate in Accounting/ Financial Management.

HR

?Ideal:

  • Hons Bachelor Degree in Human Resource Management


Alternatively:

  • Hons Degree in one of the Business related fields with Industrial Psychology or
  • Labour Law with Human Resource Management to second year level.

 

Payroll and Statutory Returns

?

Ideal:
 3 Year Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management with payroll administration up to second year level
3 Year Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Accounting
Alternatively:
3 year Diploma in one of the Human Resources/Payroll related fields.
Advanced Certificate in Human Resource Management/Payroll.

Work Experience:

?Lecturing experience in Human Resources Management/Payroll administration/Accounting practices
Work experience as a Human Resources Practitioner/Payroll Administrator.
